CE: Compulsory European standard for all wood and gas burning appliances. All Barbas and Bellfires fireplaces have this standard.

Flamme Verte: VVoluntary French standard whereby the emission and efficiency of the appliance decide the amount of stars which will be allocated (1 star is the lowest performance, 5 stars is the best performance)

1.BImschV: Compulsory German standard for wood-burning appliances. Appliances which are sold in Germany must comply to this.

VKF-LRV11: Compulsory Swiss standard for wood-burning appliances. Appliances which are sold in Switzerland must comply to this.

Smoke Control Areas approved - Required approval in Great Britain as suitable for burning wood in a designated smoke control zone. These zones have intensified requirements for the emission of fine particles.

CSA - The CSA registered mark shows that the appliance and the production process have been tested according to the American/ Canadian standards and meet the demands of the obligatory and applicable norms as a base for certification.
